Grus

A Crane of Light Grus takes inspiration from the elegant and slender bird – which also gives its name to the small constellation – of which it recalls the characteristic pose about to take flight. In the floor lamp designed by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella, the slender linearity of the body stands out in space, in perfect and geometric harmony. Floor lamp with off-center light point characterized by a slender geometric structure made of painted sheet metal. The load-bearing structure is divided into two parts pivoted one on top of the other, held in tension by a metal cable that runs parallel to it, fixed to the rhomboidal base. The painted sheet metal is available in the elegant graphite grey finish while the large fabric diffuser is available in white, wine red and sage finishes.
